Trinity Rigoni

Trinity Rigoni was born in Las Vegas, Nevada, and spent the first eleven years of her life there before her family began traveling across the United States. For more than two years, Trinity, her parents, two younger twin brothers, and three dogs lived and traveled together across the United States.

Growing up in a family that always owned dogs, Trinity developed an early passion for working with animals. After her family settled in Texas, she attended public high school and completed several animal-focused programs, including Small Animal Management, Agriculture, and Veterinary Medicine. She also gained hands-on experience working at a dog boarding and daycare facility and interning at a veterinary clinic. Through these experiences, Trinity discovered her true interest was in animal behavior rather than veterinary medicine.

Trinity learned about Highland Canine through a recommendation from an acquaintance and completed a weeklong mentorship with Kim Cain at the Hill Country Campus of the School for Dog Trainers in Utopia, Texas. That mentorship confirmed her passion for dog training, leading her to attend the July 2024 Master Dog Trainer Program immediately after graduating high school. She graduated with multiple honors, including Student Excellence, Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society induction, Honors Graduate distinction, Perfect Attendance, and Best in Trailing in her class.

Prior to graduation, Trinity was accepted into the Highland Canine internship program, where she continued developing her professional skills. During her internship, she participated in a Service Dog delivery and witnessed firsthand the life-changing impact a Service Dog can have on a family. This experience solidified her commitment to pursuing a career in Service Dog training, and she is proud to be part of the Highland Canine team.
