Elza is originally from Batesville, Arkansas. Many of Elza’s early years were spent around animals in a farm setting – she grew up with dogs, horses, cows and chickens.
Prior to moving to North Carolina, Elza ran a successful dog training business in Florida for five years. In 2022, Elza attended the Master Dog Trainer program at the School for Dog Trainers – a 24-week program covering all aspects of dog training. Elza graduated as one of three Honor students, a recipient of the Student Excellence award, and Valedictorian of her class.
Elza now works at the Main Campus of the School for Dog Trainers, helping the next generation of dog trainers to improve their knowledge and skills.
Outside of work, Elza enjoys participating in multiple dog sports, marathons, hiking, and hobby photography.
