Highland Canine Training, LLC is pleased to announce a new dog training location based in Tucson, Arizona. Lori Lopez, a recent graduate of the Master Dog Trainer program at the School for Dog Trainers, is offering professional dog training services to dog owners in Tucson and the surrounding areas.
The expansion into Tucson will allow Highland Canine Training to provide expert dog training solutions to dog owners in southern Arizona. The launch of this new location follows Highland Canine’s expansion into Ohio and Tennessee earlier in 2020.
From a young age, Lori has had an affinity for dogs. Her first dog was a miniature poodle puppy, Baby. Even though Baby was intended for her brother, Lori eventually started to train her and eventually rectified behavioral problems – and her passion for dog training was born.
Lori has since acquired a Standard poodle, Luna, who she has trained to perform therapy dog and mobility tasks. Lori has also worked with Luna at SAR and trailing activities – working dogs are one of Lori’s passions when it comes to dog training.
Lori is offering the following dog training services to dog owners in Tucson and nearby areas:

Every day, we see miscommunications between owners and their dogs. These are unintentional, but they can unknowingly reinforce behaviors which are far from ideal. I want to help dog owners to understand how their dog thinks – and once you understand how a dog thinks, it makes it far easier to resolve any behavioral problems.”
