About The Trainer

Danielle Browning

Your Lexington, NC Dog Trainer

Danielle was born and raised in Lexington, NC. She has been a valuable member of the Highland Canine team for five years, helping numerous dog owners in the Lexington area to improve their relationship with their dog.

After Danielle graduated from High School, she pursued an Associates in Business Administration with an Accounting track. After realizing she would love to work outdoors and with animals, she found the School for Dog Trainers and immediately fell in love with working with dogs. “Learning about dog behavior and training, and being able to work hands on with working dogs, service dogs, and problematic dogs become eye opening and rewarding.”

After graduating at the top of her class from a 24-week Master Dog Trainer Program, she started her professional dog training career in Lexington. NC. “It is so important to build a good foundation when training,” says Danielle. “You have to make sure the expectations stay consistent so that your dog can learn what behaviors are and are not allowed in your home.”

Our Board and Train Programs

We offer three different Board and Train programs at Highland Canine for dog owners in Lexington. The duration and type of program suitable for your dog will depend on their experience and the level of training required. Speak to Danielle today to discuss the best program for your dog.

Basic Board And Train Dog Training $1,750

On-Leash Dog Training

Our basic or on-leash board and train package lasts for three weeks.

This is a great program for dogs who have had no professional dog training. During our basic program, we will teach the dog to sit, down, stay, come, place, and to heel. Your dog will learn to perform the commands –  even without treats and under considerable distractions. We will proof them during the board and train program. We also work on any issues you may be experiencing with your dog, such as; jumping on people, barging out the door, getting on furniture, counter surfing, and pulling on the leash.

Included with our Basic Board And Train Dog Training Program is a video of your dog’s training as well as one-on-one training with you when you pick them up. With any of our training programs, we also offer free follow-up training for as long as you own the dog.

Advanced Board And Train Dog Training $2,150

Off-Leash Dog Training

Our Advanced or Off Leash Board And Train package lasts for three weeks. This program works well for dogs who have previously been through our basic program or an equivalent.

During our Advanced Board and Train Dog Training Program, we will teach the dog to sit, down, stay, come, place, and to heel – all completely off-leash. Much like our basic training program, we ensure your dog will respond to commands even with distractions, by maintaining the dog’s focus through a variety of situations.

If your dog has any issues such as jumping up, counter surfing, jumping on furniture, and pulling on the leash, these issues will be addressed in this program. Included with this program is an instructional video of your dog’s training, a Dogtra remote training collar, and one-on-one training with you when you pick the dog up.

With any of our training programs, we offer free follow-up training for as long as you own the dog.

Boot Camp Board And Train Dog Training $3,550

On and Off Leash Dog Training

Our most popular board and train package, our Boot Camp program lasts for six weeks and is great for owners who want off-leash results from a dog that has never had any previous professional dog training.

The Boot Camp board and train program teaches the dog to sit, down, stay, come, place, and to heel, both on and off leash. With our Boot Camp Board and Train, we are able to build a solid foundation for your dog and work through the stages of training at the dog’s pace. We will expose your dog to a variety of different environments, distractions, and situations during our Boot Camp Training.

This course is also the best option for owners with dogs with behavioral problems such as: biting, fighting, phobias, resource guarding, territorial aggression, growling, snapping, fear aggression, and dominance aggression.

Included with this program is a video of your dog’s training, a Dogtra remote training collar, and one-on-one training with you when you pick the dog up.

With any of our training programs, we offer free follow-up training for as long as you own the dog.
